Nicholas L. Garshelis, Head Professional Geologist and Project Manager of CuMoCo, died on September 21, 2013.

“Nick was a loyal and dedicated person who was a tremendous asset to the company and project.” said Shaun Dykes, CEO of CuMoCo. “His work ethic, dedication, passion and never ending enthusiasm for the project helped the company move through the initial five turbulent years. The shareholders and I owe him our deepest gratitude for the work and sacrifice he made for the CuMo Project.  Nick will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends.”

Nick was a member of the Economic Geological Society and recently attained certification as an Idaho Certified Professional Geologist.  A graduate of Boise State University, he was the Geology Department’s Academic Achievement Award recipient.  He loved his role at CuMoCo and travelled frequently to deliver geological presentations and speeches to companies and universities.  CuMoCo is planning a memorial scholarship in his honor at Boise State University.
